Max-compound Cox processes are introduced. Limit theorems for their distributions is proved. These results are applied to the estimation of risks of catastrophic events in non-homogeneous flows of extremal events. As an example, the problem of estimation of the risk of the impact of the Earth and a large asteroid is considered.
