The Séminaire Européen de Statistique (SemStat) is a European Summer School for researchers in statistics and statistical sciences at the early stage of their career.

Here is the programme for the SemStat Summer School.

David Balding (Imperial College London) Statistical Analysis of Genetic Association Studies

Chris Holmes (Oxford) Bayesian Pattern Recognition in Genomics

Jens Ledet Jensen (University of Aarhus) Context dependent DNA evolutionary models. Maximum likelihood classifier in microarray studies

Sophie Schbath (INRA, Jouy-en-Josas) The statistical world of motifs on genomes

Korbinian Strimmer (Munich) Statistical Modeling and Inferring Genomic Networks

Lorenz Wernisch (Birkbeck College, London) Sparse Bayesian time-series models

Mike West (Duke) Aspects of Statistical Modelling and Data Analysis in Gene Expression Genomics

The application procedure took place from 15 April to 30 June and is now closed. Application for conference participation is no longer possible.
