Dr Aditi Shenvi

I am a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Applied Statistics & Risk Unit (AS&RU), working with Dr Martine Barons. As part of the AS&RU, my current research focuses on working with academic, industry, government, and non-government partners to provide statistical expertise in decision-making and uncertainty handling.

I completed my PhD, under the supervision of Prof Jim Q Smith, at the Mathematics for Real-World Systems CDT at Warwick. More details about my PhD research can be found here.

➣ I am organising a workshop on Chain Event Graphs on 5-6th September 2022, funded by the Alan Turing Institute. For more details and to register, visit: this link.

➣ Released a new pre-print on arxiv titled "On Bayesian Dirichlet Scores for Staged Trees and Chain Event Graphs" Link opens in a new windowwith collaborators Conor Hughes and Peter Strong.

➣ I was awarded the Lifetime Members Junior Research Award (for recognising junior researchers attending an ISBA World Meeting who gave significant contributions in the early stage of their career).
