BAYSM 2018: Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting

University of Warwick, 2-3 July 2018

Warwick Stats

Welcome to the 4th BAYSM!

BAYSM is dedicated to PhD students, MSc students, Post-Docs and Young Researchers working in the field of Bayesian statistics. BAYSM is an opportunity to connect with the Bayesian community at large, to exchange ideas, and to know people working in the same field for creating future networks. The presence of a senior discussant in each session will allow participants to get advice and comments to their current research.

Theoretical and applied contributions are welcome. All authors whose contribution has been accepted for an oral talk or a poster presentation are also invited to extend their papers to be considered for publication in a book of the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics (with ISSN). Publication will be free for authors.

In order to promote the participation of a large number of participants, registration fees will be kept low. Thanks to the generous support of ISBA, we also have travel awards to support young researchers. Join us on 2-3 July 2018!

Keynote Speakers:

Conference poster: please help circulate!
Conference booklet: containing titles and abstracts of Keynote Talks, Contributed Talks, and Posters.
Update: posterboards can accommodate posters in A0 portrait, otherwise A1 landscape or portrait.

BAYSM 2018 has planned close to the ISBA World Meeting in Edinburgh, 24-29 June 2018, in both time and distance to benefit from the large number of researchers in Bayesian statistics. Additionally, participants are encouraged to consider the LMS Invited Lecture Series and CRISM Summer School on Computational Statistics which will take place following BAYSM at the University of Warwick 9-13 July 2018.
