Santhosh Narayanan

I am a third year PhD student in the Department of Statistics, University of Warwick, where I work under the supervision of Dr. Ioannis Kosmidis and Prof. Petros Dellaportas. I am also a visiting student at the Alan Turing Insititute in London.

My research interests are in applied stochastic processes, using multivariate point processes to model event sequences in football and other team sports.

Previously, I completed my M.Sc. in Data Science at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Insititute of Technology Madras. I also have over three years of work experience in real-world data analytic applications in domains of oil and gas production, automotive retail and pharmacovigilance for life science clients. For more information, take a look at my CV.
