Research profile

Hillol's research interests include design of powertrain component and energy management of automotive vehicles. His current doctoral research is focused on the reduction of fuel economy variation in hybrid electric vehicles.

Background

He received a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from Jadavpur University, India in 2002 and a Master of Technology degree from IIT Guwahati, India in 2005. Since 2005 he has been in Research & Development department in TVS Motor Company Limited, India. He has been responsible for the development of internal combustion engines for new products and has successfully developed three new products.
