Welcome

I am a research engineer studying on the international EngD programme at WMG. I hold a master degree in Management and Marketing from the Technical University of Koszalin. I also completed a master degree in Engineering Business Management within WMG at the University of Warwick. My final dissertation investigated the viability of renewable energy technologies in manufacturing organisations.

During my master studies I realised that responsible manufacturing is about creating profit for shareholders as well as protecting the environment and improving lives of those with whom it interacts. Leading companies turn this responsibility into opportunity by developing business models that can be applied to many areas to drive sustainable decision-making. This represents a key challenge for manufacturing where decisions are made based on economic rationale rather than other influences that may impact on total value. Integrating sustainability into business decision-making and business processes got me really interested and I decided to pursue my interest in the research project which I am now undertaking.
