Engineers and teaching staff from WMG and the School of Engineering represented the University of Warwick at the annual Imagineering Fair at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena in November 2015.
Each year thousands of people enjoy hundreds of activities developed and laid on by some of the UK’s major manufacturers, engineering organisations and education establishments. Visitors learn about the importance of modern engineering in our everyday life and how things are designed and made. Youngsters are also able to meet successful real-life young engineers.
At the 2015 event, the WMG team introduced children to the exciting world of engineering with plenty of hands on activities for youngsters to get involved with. They also had the chance to see some amazing engineering projects including Warwick Racing, Warwick Mobile Robotics involving two robots and robot rescue competition, Warwick Submarine, Warwick Engineering Society, Technology Volunteers, Biomedical Engineering and Engineers Without Borders.
