Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

How is the KTP funded?

Each KTP is part-funded by Innovate UK, meaning businesses need to contribute to the salary of the Associate and academic supervisors. SMEs typically contribute a third of the cost, which on average amounts to £28,000. Larger businesses contribute half, which on average works out at £40,000.
