Sustainable Production Innovation Network (SPIN)

The WMG SME team set up the Sustainable Innovation Network (SPIN) to bring together like-minded companies to discuss how sustainability can be brought into manufacturing. We hope to inspire new partnerships and projects that support the UK's sustainability goals.

As part of cultivating this network:

We're hosting interactive online events to engage SME manufacturers in discussions about becoming more sustainable. Industrial guest speakers present case studies, and interactive break-out sessions will give you the opportunity to explore the topic with like-minded businesses. Our aim is to have you leave the events with a greater understanding of both the upcoming challenges for your waste materials and information on opportunities to address these.

We're also putting together some dynamic SPIN Cohorts. The aim of these is to gather manufacturing businesses into groups to gain knowledge, implement change, and grow business. WMG is teaming up with a large business and a partner organisation to collaborate with five or more SMEs to create a network of people dedicated to helping each other become more sustainable in manufacturing.
