Course Overview

Our MSc in International Trade, Strategy and Operations covers all of the management and operational requirements you will need to trade successfully in international markets, with an emphasis on practical application.

The programme provides a clear overview of all the elements of international trade, and also have the freedom through your Final Year Project and elective modules to specialise in particular aspects such as transportation and logistics, and business development. The skills you develop will encompass initial engagement with new markets right through to the delivery of a product or service.

You will learn how to trade internationally in uncertain climates including cultural and political challenges, as well as logistical. You will develop your critical thinking to enable you to review your current processes and plan for the future.

We will develop your knowledge of international legal considerations, trading with developing economies, differing labour requirements, exchange rates, joint ventures and much more - giving you a wider viewpoint of global trading.

We cover academic theory but we focus on case studies and scenarios so you can apply your knowledge immediately, making it a very practical course.

We believe that the best way to embed the ideas, tools, and processes you have studied is by applying them back to your work environment. This is why each module is followed by a post-module work-based assignment, rather than written examinations.
