Research Methodologies
This module provides you with practical guidance on how to conduct an academically-sound MSc project. The module provides guidance on the key elements of good academic practice and a practical understanding of the major elements required of a Masters project.
On completion, the participant will be:
- Aware of the key elements of good academic practice and will understand the importance of a sound research methodology
- Capable of writing a Masters level literature review
- Aware of the key elements of good data analysis and the importance of making an appropriate choice of qualitative/quantitative analysis technique(s), relative to the choice of project
- Capable of writing a dissertation which meets the academic standards for an MSc
