Supply Chain Management (SCMA)

 

Introduction

This module provides an understanding of the fundamental concepts underlying effective supply chain management, including the establishment and maintenance of relationships with suppliers, customers and the customer's customers.

The course material is reinforced by a company based post-module assignment.

 

Objectives: On completion, the participant will be able to: 

  1. Understand the concept of the supply chain and its management.

  2. Understand the basic issues in establishing and maintaining the supply chain.

  3. Understand the impact of inventory system effects within supply chain and manufacturing operations’ roles.

  4. Understand the application of appropriate technologies to support effective supply chain management
