To compete in a competitive market, organisations need to exploit and manage opportunities to increase shareholder value while mitigating risk and operating in an environmentally and ethically responsible manner.

This unit will examine how products, services and processes can be analysed configured to create an effective and efficient supply chain. This will involve the evaluation of internal (organisational) factors as well as external (industry) factors to determine where bottlenecks can occur in the supply chain and the identification of methods to improve coordination/flow between the different organisations.
