Claudia Newton recently presented at the Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) launch at the House of Lords. The Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing is a collaboration between the Universities of Warwick, Exeter and Cranfield, with support from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and partner companies.
The Centre is working to address industry-driven research challenges around sustainability. EPSRC-funded centres like this bring together diverse expertise from both academia and industry to train engineers and scientists with the skills, knowledge and confidence to tackle today’s evolving issues, and future challenges.
At the end of the four-year programme, successful research students will gain an International Engineering Doctorate (EngD (Int)) in Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing.
