Most of our available projects are fully or partially funded. The majority of these are for UK/EU applicants, though occasionally we advertise positions that will also be open to overseas applicants or we may be able to help with fees for those from overseas. Please refer to specific project descriptions for details.

If you are looking for scholarships to undertake your own research project please refer to this list of alternative funding opportunities for which you may be eligible.

Currently Resident in the UK

In many cases, support is available from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) for those who have a minimum 2:1 Hons degree and should have indefinite leave to remain in the UK and have been ordinarily resident here for 3 years prior to the project start-date, apart from occasional or temporary absences. Additional details of these criteria are available on the EPSRC website. This will usually fund registration fees and give a stipend for the year.

Non-UK Resident

Overseas applicants are encouraged to apply for a Warwick Collaborative Research Scholarship. We also have a number of full and fees only scholarships available from WMG.
