Students are able to gain access to the International Manufacturing Centre (IMC) building 8.00am - 9.00pm Monday - Friday, and 8.00am - 5.30pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
The only point of entry to the building outside normal operational hours (8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday) is through the main IMC entrance.
One of the key elements of ensuring the security of the building and for you personally is to make sure you do not allow anyone else into the building. Access will be permitted for WMG students and staff only.
The areas within the building that you can access outside normal hours are restricted to the 1st floor computer rooms and amenity area. The lift will also be available for use.
Access to the building should only be sought for work purposes.
WMG requests that you are responsible as a cohort for the success of this probationary period, so if you do see someone doing something inappropriate then please ask them to stop. If this is insufficient then please contact Ahmet Er during normal working hours at the first opportunity.
If you experience any problems with accessing the building in the first instance please contact Simon Fox on extension 24381 during normal working hours or email Simon.Fox@warwick.ac.uk
If while in the building at any time something causes concern then the University security team can be contacted from the phone in the amenity area on extension 22083. In the case of an emergency that requires first aid again contact extension 22083. If you need the fire service please ring 999 on the internal phone so that the call is routed through to Security who can then accompany the Fire Service to the appropriate building – NOT your mobile or the fire engine will not know where to come.
