Board of Examiners

The award of degrees is made by the University Senate upon recommendations made by Boards of Examiners, which consists of members of staff of WMG and an External Examiner - a senior academic from another institution. For the full time MSc programme the Boards of Examiners meet in late November (with re-sits being considered in May the following year). These Boards will consider the course work and project performance of all the candidates, together with any other information which is relevant to their decision making process.
