EPSRC Portfolio Manager Visit 27 June 2022

Venue: PLT and L5, Sciences Building, Central Campus

We are delighted to be hosting six Portfolio Managers from EPSRC with interests across the physical sciences and advanced materials who will be visiting the University on Monday 27 June. As part of the visit they will be offering two talks in parallel for academics and researchers with interests that fall within the EPSRC remit. This will be followed by a tea/coffee break for all attendees.

Talk 1: Early Career Researchers (L5, Science Concourse)

This talk will give an overview of EPSRC, explain how to navigate the website, and will include a section on Fellowships and New Investigator Awards.

Talk 2: Experienced Researchers (PLT, Science Concourse)

This talk will be aimed at more experienced researchers who have interacted with EPSRC before, and is set to include details of the recent strategy and budget allocations, the introduction of narrative CVs, including ED&I in proposals, and the CDT call.
