Could you make a battery out of lemons?
Every year the University of Warwick's Physics department collaborates with other STEM subjects to host a series of fun and accessible lectures on a range of topics with experiments and real life science. This year they recruited our PhD student, Evé Wheeler-Jones, from our Electrochemical Engineering and Materials research team, to lead a special Christmas Lecture at Warwick Arts Centre. She taught an amazed audience of nearly 1000 people, how to make batteries out of lemons.
