The 3rd International Summer School on Intelligent Agents in Automation will be held at the University of Applied Sciences Emden-Leer, Germany from 20th - 28th of July 2017.
Organised by the University of Applied Sciences Emden-Leer (Germany) and WMG, University of Warwick, the summer school is technically sponsored by the IEEE IES Technical committee on Industrial Cyber Physical System, IEEE IES Technical Committee on Industrial Agents, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal), Linköping University (Sweden), Institute of Automation and Information Systems, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Munich (Germany) and UNINOVA – Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias (Portugal).
The theme of this year's Summer School is Industry 4.0. The intensive course aims to promote discussion on engineering methods for the design, development and implementation of the next generation of intelligent automation system. Expert academics and researchers will deliver the course, sharing their ideas and experiences surrounding innovative engineering approaches, technologies and their applications.
The Summer School is held in parallel to the IEEE 15th International Conference on Industrial Informatics INDIN 2017.
