2013 Summer Conferences

The Service Systems group have several abstracts accepted at leading service conferences such as the QUIS 13 in Karlstad, Sweden, 2013 Frontiers in Service Conference in Taipei, Taiwan, and the Naples Forum in Service in Capri, Italy. 2012 Summer Conferences

The Service Systems group was well-represented at some of the key service conferences around the globe this summer:

12th International Research Conference in Service Management, La Londe les Maures, France - May 29 to June 1, 2012

This service conference is held every other year by the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE) of Aix-en-Provence, France. At this year's conference, Irene presented the following paper:

 

AMA SERVSIG International Service Research Conference (SERVSIG 2012), Helsinki, Finland - June 7-9, 2012

SERVSIG, the American Marketing Association (AMA)'s Services Marketing Special Interest Group, holds an International Research Conference every two years. This year's conference was hosted by the CERS Centre for Relationship Marketing and Service Management at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. At SERVSIG 2012, Irene conducted two presentations based on the following abstracts during the parallel sessions:

21st Annual Frontiers in Service Conference, University of Maryland, College Park, USA - June 14 -17, 2012

This is considered by many to be the world's leading annual conference on service research. Irene and Dr Susan Wakenshaw represented the WMG Service Systems group at this conference, and made presentations based on the following abstracts:

INFORMS MSOM (Manufacturing and Service Operations Management) Conference, Columbia University, New York, USA - June 17-19, 2012

Irene Ng presented based on the following abstract at the Service Operations Special Interest Group at this conference, which welcomes all researchers and practitioners with an interest in the management of manufacturing and service operations.

 

Performance Measurement Association (PMA) 2012 Conference: From Strategy to Delivery, University of Cambridge - July 11-13, 2012

This regular conference aims to bring together those who want to explore and better understand the role that performance measurement and management plays in improving organisational performance. At this year's PMA conference, Sarahjane Jones presented the following paper:
