The University of Warwick (www.warwick.ac.uk) takes your privacy seriously. This notice sets out information about how we process your personal data [your ‘information’] in connection with our trials as to the effectiveness and correct functioning of connected and autonomous vehicles on the Warwick Campus. The University processes your information ancillary to the above purposes as our vehicles contain a number of cameras that record their surroundings. The vehicles are also observed and recorded through external cameras and your information may also be captured in this way. It is anticipated that some or all of the following types of information will be processed: your image and movements, what you are wearing etc.
Our legal basis to process your information is that we are undertaking a task in the public interest (research).
We may share your information with project partners such as Jaguar Land Rover, University of Surrey and TRL.
We will retain your information until June 2021.
You have certain rights in relation to your information for instance a right of access or to restrict or object to what we do with your information.
