Biography
Avishek Pal received his BTech. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2008. He previously worked as an Associate Systems Engineer in IBM India Ltd. He joined the University of Warwick in December 2011 as a PhD student.
Currently, Avishek is a doctoral researcher in the Digital Lifecycle Management Group at WMG. His main research interests include failure detection from service data, root cause analysis and quality improvements by the application of data mining and process mining in real life, business process modelling and analysis, simulation and optimisation.
