Chetan Shrouti completed his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal, India, in 2009.He previously worked as an Assistant Manager, in Research & Development (R&D) department at Bajaj Auto Ltd (India). Also he is an entrepreneur and currently owns venture "Sytrics"-Inspiring Innovations. He received HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Scholarship 2012 from the UK Government for his master’s programme. He joined the University of Warwick in October 2012 as a Masters Student in Engineering Business Management.
His area of research focusses on developing a rapid data-driven methodology for performing Root Cause Analysis and suggesting Corrective Actions during quality failures and product field failures to achieve the fast product maturity. This methodology involves a computer experimentation technique based on Design-of-experiments (DOE) approach to link the warranty failures with the product design parameters such as Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T). The method focus on identifying root cause(s) to address in-tolerance design faults to improve the quality and reliability in closed-loop product lifecycle management.
