Jiayi Zhang is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of WMG, University of Warwick (United Kingdom). He received his B.E. and M.Sc. degree in 2012 and 2013, respectively, from Tianjin Normal University (China) and University of Teesside (United Kingdom). His main researchinterests are semantic predictive modelling, cloud manufacturing, and knowledge-based system integration. He has been working at DeYi Times (TianJin) since 2011. He has worked as IT engineer, participating in different manufacturing projects, related to software development technologies, web development, and accessible web design. He also holds three patents in systems, products, and exterior designs. He has been recently involved in developing system evaluation and visualisation interface (SEVI) for Remote Laser Welding application.
