Dimensional X-ray Computed Tomography Conference, 13 July 2017

The Dimensional X-ray Computed Tomography (dXCT) conference is an annual conference presenting and disseminating the latest developments in XCT for dimensional measurement and its industrial impact across a variety of applications. The conference is also expected to define synergies and opportunities of collaborations between different organisations and commercial representatives.

In its second year, it is being held at WMG, University of Warwick, UK on Thursday 13th July. The conference will be accompanied by pre-conference workshops on Wednesday 12th July which are free to attend for registered delegates. Details of the workshops can be found here.

In 2016 it was held at NPL, Teddington and was attended by over 100 delegates from 46 companies and research organisations. Previous topics include: how improved XCT could in the future help deliver greener engines, to the increased use of additive manufacturing in high performance aero parts, and onto improving survival rates in tumour diagnostics. Speaker sessions were supported by academic posters with a diversity of thought-provoking scientific insights into measurement with XCT. The previous conference website can be found here.
