The NAIC building will occupy 33,000m2 next to WMG's current facilities on the University of Warwick campus.
NAIC will be designed around a collaborative heart with space for around 1,000 colleagues from the partner companies to work on a range of advanced projects.
Within the four-storey building, there will be areas dedicated to specific activities and these will surround a collaborative core. Spaces within the building will be flexible to facilitate creativity and interaction. The impressive front of the building will house a large spacious reception and exhibition area where relevant technologies and concepts will be displayed in a public showcase.
Facilities will include:
- Advanced Powertrain Research
- Hybrid & Chassis Research
- Advanced Design Research
- Simulation and Visualisation areas
- Collaborative Project areas
- Undergraduate Teaching and Project Space
- Public Interface area
The NAIC building has been designed by Cullinan Studio.
