IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Due to recent changes (April 2015) to the Secure English Language Tests for use in a UK visa application, if you require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK, please first check your eligibility for a CAS - CAS Eligibility Flowchart before making an application for the Pre-sessional English Programme. More information can be found at www.warwick.ac.uk/go/io/connect/updates/

Please follow this link if you want to find out if you are qualified to join the Pre-sessional Programme: General English Language Requirement or for WMG Courses use this guide: WMG English Requirement

Course Dates

Phase 4 - (10 weeks): 8 July - 13 Sept 2019

Phase 5 - (6 weeks): 5 Aug - 13 Sept 2019

please note that to attend phases 4/5 or 5 you must hold an offer from the University of Warwick to do your main degree.

Please note: Attending a pre-sessional programme does not automatically exempt you from the requirement to achieve a minimum score in IELTS to undertake your degree programme. Please ensure that you have been informed by your department or the PG admissions team that you can take the phase 4/5 pre-sessional programme before applying. If you have already achieved the IELTS score required for your degree programme but would like to undertake the pre-sessional programme to receive extra exposure to academic English before your degree starts, then we would also welcome applications from such candidates

NB Applications must be received by the University at least 4 weeks before the start of the phase required. Late applications will not be processed.
