Research
CEDAR undertakes a range of research most of which is concerned with Equity. This research includes studies of new initiatives by the government, local authorities, the Voluntary and Community Sector, health services, and practitioners. Our main foci at present are in special educational needs and disability, with particular emphasis on speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and autism and parenting support, in particular the evaluation of government initiatives to support parents by means of evidence-based parenting classes.
You can access information about current and completed projects below. We also have a doctoral programme with CEDAR – see PhD Students.
