EDUCATIONAL PROVISION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIFIC SPEECH AND LANGUAGE DIFFICULTIES : THE INVESTIGATION OF GOOD PRACTICE
Directors: Geoff Lindsay (CEDAR) and Julie Dockrell (ULIE)
With: Mairi-Ann Cullen (CEDAR)
This project developed an earlier study investigating provision for children with specific speech and language difficulties across England and Wales, also directed by Professor Geoff Lindsay and Professor Julie Dockrell (University of London Institute of Education), and funded by the Nuffield Foundation. The present study investigated six LEA - health trust pairings which were identified in the earlier phase as having good practice. The six represent different types of approaches, e.g. relative focus on mainstream v specialised provisions. The study ended in December 2004.
