Evaluation of the Time to Talk Community Programme

DIRECTORS: GEOFF LINDSAY AND HILTON DAVIS
WITH: MAIRI-ANN CULLEN and LIZ DAVIS

Time to Talk was a community programme run by Parentline Plus, funded by the DCSF as part of its Teenage Pregnancy Strategy to reduce rates of under-18 conception. It was designed to help parents, particularly mothers who gave birth as teenagers, to have the confidence to encourage their children to have the confidence to make informed choices. The evaluation took place across five sites over the period January 2007 – March 2008. It was directed by Professor Geoff Lindsay, CEDAR, and Professor Hilton Davis, Kings College London and the South London & Maudsley NHS Trust, with Mairi-Ann Cullen and Liz Davis from CEDAR.
