Eunice (NIKI) Phillips is an Associate Fellow in CEDAR. She was previously Headteacher of a girls' grammar school in Warwickshire and subsequently researched for a PhD on The Educational Needs of Gifted Children at the University of Warwick. During this period she worked as a tutor at Westminster College Oxford and led training seminars for Warwickshire LEA and the National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE). She also led a team which produced the Warwickshire Policy on Meeting the Educational Needs of Gifted and Talented Pupils. Since being awarded here PhD she has led seminars on the outcomes of her research at Oxford Brookes University and at one of the DfES Gifted and Talented Termly Standing Conferences. She has also done research for The National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY) and very recently did a special Gifted Project in a primary school, the results of which NACE intends to publish on its web-site. She is currently working part-time for NAGTY.
