Why did you choose to study this course at the University of Warwick?
Starting my PhD at the Centre for Education Studies at the University of Warwick was an informed choice. I did my MA degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation at Warwick in 2008/09 and the amazing experience it offered brought me back in 2012 as a research student.

What have been the highlights of the programme so far?
A full range of trainings and seminars run throughout the year to support students at different stages of their degree programmes. The CES staff members are really friendly and welcome you to a vibrant research community. Being part of the doctoral students’ network ensures your PhD life is not a lonely one. Whether it is preparation for fieldwork, conference, upgrade or viva, we are always happy to listen, give feedback and inspire.

Would you recommend this course to a friend? Why?
Reflecting on my PhD journey, I would recommend this course to anyone who is up for an academic adventure. It offers a myriad of exciting opportunities that allows you to shine. With all its diversity, the University of Warwick is one small world waiting for you to explore and make a change.
