This project reflects a growing interest in research into religion at Warwick, or the return of religion and the phenomenon of the so-called 'post-secular' society, across a range of disciplines and faculties. We aim to do more than simply build an interdisciplinary network, however, and are dedicated to exploring ways in which this research can be disseminated beyond campus, and can benefit from and be of benefit to non-academic publics.
Established by Dr James Hodkinson of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (SMLC) and Dr Elisabeth Arweck of WRERU, we have already held a one-day event, funded generously by the newly established Public Engagement Fund at Warwick. This took place in May 2016, and you can find out more about it here. As the network develops and future events are planned, these pages will become a hub for disseminating information.
If you are interested in collaborating with us, as an academic or non-academic partner with an interest in religion, society, academia and education, then please get in touch:
