Helen is responsible for supporting the development of all research activity within the Centre.

She works closely with Research and Impact Support to identify new funding opportunities academic colleagues within the Centre and is responsible for providing advice and support to colleagues on the management of their research grants and contracts.

She also focuses on activities related to the next Research Excellence Framework assessment, and assists with the development & implementation the Centre's impact strategy.

In addition to this Helen oversees and manages the Warwick Laksh Programme, a volunteer teaching programme for Warwick students in rural India.


Helen has worked at Warwick since 2004 in a variety of roles including Research Administrator and Policy Lab Manager in the Department of Economics, Centre Co-Ordinator for the ESRC Research Centre CAGE: Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy, Office Manager for the CAPITAL Centre (a HEFCE funded Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning) and Sales Researcher for Warwick Conferences. She has acted as a member of the Degree Congregation team and been a part of the Residential Life team. She also served as Assistant Secretary to the Board of the Faculty of Science.
