Thinking about studying with CTE?
You've taken the first step on your way to a truly inspirational career with the Centre for Teacher Education.
Studying with the University of Warwick will help you to become a resilient teacher, setting you on the path for a successful teaching and leadership career. All of our academics and teaching fellows are experienced school teachers, so what is ingrained in us, is passed on to you. We will help you to meet your potential, not simply meet the need.
Join us in our series of live chats and webinars to learn more about our PGCEs, what routes you can take and ask your questions.
What are live chats?
The University of Warwick greatly values the health, welfare and safety of its students, staff and any visitors to campus, and we understand the concerns and uncertainty around Corona Virus at this present time. With that in mind, we have added lots of ways that you can engage with us digitally, through General Drop-ins, Admissions Clinics, Information Evenings and Taster Days.
Live chats give you the opportunity to speak with our staff in real-time. Live chats are open to all, and enable prospective trainees from the UK, EU and internationally to enquire or ask questions.
Who am I messaging?
Each chat will be administered by an academic or administrative member of the CTE department. At the beginning of each live chat, the members of the chat will introduce themselves so that you know who you are talking with.
What questions should I ask?
All questions will be answered, so feel free to ask anything - what to write in your application; what you will study; what life is like studying at the University of Warwick; what career opportunities you may have in the future etc.
Please note, as with any online forum, be cautious about asking anything sensitive. Should you have anything personal that you would like to discuss with us, we encourage you to contact us by email on CTE.email@example.com
What if I can't make the chat?
We have lots of digital events planned, so if you couldn't make the last one, be sure to sign up to the next or visit or FAQ page.
If you have a specific question before then, please feel free to email us on CTE.firstname.lastname@example.org
