Economics undergraduates have work published in The Undergraduate Economic Review

Three undergraduate students in the Department of Economics have had their work published in the Undergraduate Economic Review. Sven Hoeling, Lewis Gugeon and Felix Hagemeister carried out a project last academic year as part of the EC226 Econometrics 1 module entitled “Should you do a doctorate? The changing returns to postgraduate qualifications”.

Module leader, Professor Jeremy Smith, commented “This was originally submitted as Assignment 2 for EC226 last academic year. The research is very interesting, on what is a topical issue. It is great for the students to get their work peer reviewed and good that other institutions get to see the standard of research work our 2nd year students produce.”
