Warwick ranked first in The Times and The Sunday Times University League Table for Economics 2015

The Department is proud to announce that Economics at Warwick has been ranked top of the specialist subject table for Economics in The Times and The Sunday Times University League tables for 2015. This follows on from the wonderful news that The University of Warwick has been named University of the Year 2015 in the same prestigious rankings.

The subject awards are based on student ratings for teaching, assessment and feedback, facilities and overall satisfaction combined with research quality, completion rates, staff-student ratios, graduate prospects and course entry standards.

Professor Abhinay Muthoo, Head of Department of Economics and Co-director of Warwick Policy Lab, said: “I am delighted and excited by the results. This external recognition highlights the Department’s success in providing our students with a fantastic experience and whilst also producing world class academic research .”

Earlier this year, the Economics Department was also ranked first amongst Russell Group Universities in terms of overall student satisfaction.
