Tuesday 26 Sep 2017Economics ranked in the 'Top 5' in The Times/Sunday Times' Good University Guide 2018.
We are pleased to announce that Economics is ranked 4th out of 76 UK Economics departments in the subject league table published in the Good University Guide 2018. The Department of Economics has continued to maintain its position as one of the leading Economics departments in the UK that has been consistently ranked in the 'Top 5' for a number of years.
The Good University Guide takes into consideration a number of quality measures, including teaching and research quality, student experience, entry points and graduate prospects and we are pleased to see that our scores were particularly high in the area of student experience and graduate prospects giving us a total score of 98%, with only UCL, Oxford and Cambridge with higher scores.
This follows on from our success in The Complete University Guide 2018 league table, where we were ranked 3rd position.
Commenting on the subject rankings, the Head of the Department Jeremy Smith, said:

The University of Warwick was named as one of the UK's top 10 universities and 1st in the West Midlands.
