Call for Submissions: Women in Environmental Economics Workshop
Friday 17 Oct 2025In collaboration with CEPR, The CAGE Research Centre at the University of Warwick is delighted to announce a call for papers for the second Women in Environmental Economics Workshop. The workshop will take place at the University’s venue in Venice, Italy from 9th to 10th April 2026.
Papers in any subfield of environmental economics are welcome, with preference given to applied, policy-relevant papers using novel data, and to submissions from early-career researchers. In addition to research presentations, the workshop will include keynote addresses by Hélène Ollivier and Katrina Jessoe, as well as a panel discussion on challenges experienced by women in the profession.
To encourage diversity and inclusion in the profession of environmental and resource economists, all submissions should include a female, female-identified, or non-binary presenting author. Both full-length papers and extended abstracts (minimum five pages) will be considered, with preference for more developed work. The deadline for submissions is 3rd December 2025 with acceptances communicated in January 2026. Travel and lodging for up to three nights will be reimbursed for one presenter for each accepted paper. This will be funded by CAGE where Ludovica Gazze is a theme leader.
Paper submissions and enquiries should be sent to cage.centre@warwick.ac.ukLink opens in a new window
