Civil Service prize for CAGE Research Associate

Marta Santamaria, Assistant Professor of Economics and CAGE Research Associate has been awarded the inaugural Department for Business and Trade analysis prize.

The award is for her work exploring the impact of internal barriers to trade within the UK and based on her paper Disunited Kingdom? Frictions in the Domestic Market for GoodsLink opens in a new window which uses data on road freight and a novel analytical approach to estimate "border effects" within the UK.
