AES is short for "Annales D'Economie et de Statistique," a journal published three times per year with the objective of disseminating new research in economic theory and applications. Occasionally, AES publishes special issues devoted to a particular area of research or arising from a special event. The last such issue, June-December 2001, on Social Interactionand Economic Behaviour, contained papers by such leading economists as Alberto Bisin (New York University), Andrew Oswald (University of Warwick),and Andrew Postlewaite (University of Pennsylvania).
