Kelly Taylor

Head of Administration (Teaching and Learning)

I am responsible for ensuring the management and delivery of high quality provision and support for the Department’s complex portfolio of teaching programmes. I contribute to strategy and policy development, working in close partnership with departmental colleagues.


My main responsibilities include:

The implementation and development of policies to assure the highest attainable standards of quality in the organisation of the teaching programmes.

Liaising between the Department and University staff and committees in matters relating to teaching quality and teaching quality assurance, including module and course creations and revisions.

Responsibility for writing and responding to various quality assurance reports and audits, such as the ITLR, Annual Course Reviews, NSS, Student Barometer, QAA Audits.

Managing the quality of information provided to departmental students.

Providing advice to the Head of Department, Directors of Studies and other colleagues on quality assurance issues. Line management of the Quality Assurance and Examinations Co-ordinator.
