82% overall Student Satisfaction score in the Department

The Department of Economics achieved an overall student satisfaction score of 82% in the National Student Survey 2018 (90% in 2017 and 89% in 2016) which is disappointing this year but the Department is continuing to work into areas to improve this. The highest scores were achieved for ‘Learning Resources’ (89%) and ‘Organisation and Management’ (85%). 88% of our students said that the course was intellectually stimulating and 91% were pleased with access to course specific resources.
