The current and continuing debate about student fees has intensified concerns about the value of higher education. This presentation focuses upon the pecuniary and non-pecuniary benefits of a degree (both first degrees and subsequent qualifications). Are the returns to degrees declining? If so, what types of graduates appear to be losing out in terms of their career outcomes?
