Workforce mobility and skills in the UK construction sector 2022
The IER is collaborating with BMG Research on the latest survey of workforce mobility and skills in the UK constrction sector. This is a survey of the internal migration (i.e. between the regions and nations of the UK) of construction workers and the migration of overseas workers. The survey explores diufferentails by skill and educational qualifications.
BMG Research undertook the most recent survey, which was undertaken before Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic. The new survey will be undertaken during this year. The IER will provide quantitative contextual infromation from the Labour Force Survey and other data sets.
