The ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) supports a range of activities to maximise the potential for impact from social science research. This includes the provision of faculty led training, events and resource materials alongside a responsive fund available to social scientists across the University.
The IAA offers grants of up to £20,000 to support activities that will accelerate the impact of social sciences research. This can include engagement activities to facilitate impact from established research, as well as meetings and workshops to develop new research ideas and partnerships with non-academic collaborators.
The IAA has a number of funding streams available, which are listed below. Please contact the Impact Managers to discuss which funding stream might suit your needs best.
Grants of up to £20,000 to support activities that will accelerate the impact of social sciences research, and the development of relationships with non-academic partners.
Grants of up to £3000 to enable social scientists to respond quickly to an unexpected opportunity to accelerate the impact of their research.
Grants of up to £20,000 to facilitate the initiation or development of collaborations between Warwick social scientists and non-academics based in a developing country.
Funding to support a PhD student or post-doctorial reesarcher to work on a social sciences impact project for up to 1 month.
Awards of up to £8000 to build cross-faculty Impact Networks on research themes significant to current social science debate.
