Between Change and Continuity: Implications for Governance and Law
The Warwick Law School LLM Committee is pleased to announce that the first interdisciplinary conference will take place on the 29-30 June 2021.
The aim of this conference is to bring together postgraduate students to share and present their research in an inclusive environment. ''Between Change and Continuity'' as the central motif allows engagement with topics related to Governance and Law, laying the foundation for presenting the pioneering and intellectually-daring research we ventured on. The aim of this conference is to allow students to build confidence in presenting their research and therefore we encourage all students to consider making a submission, or attending the conference by using the relevant sign up form above.
During the conference we will hear from a variety of speakers, including students presenting their research. We will also be hosting a dissertation discussion during the conference where students can discuss their research plan in an informal and friendly manner with their peers in order to increase their confidence and share ideas. This will be a hybrid event, if you would like to attend the conference in person and the social event on the 30th of June please fill in the form at the top of this page appropriately.
We welcome submissions from students on all LLM programmes.
Please send your 300 words abstract or title with short bullet point summary to LLM.Conference@warwick.ac.uk. Please include a brief biography and contact details. If you would like to participate as an audience member and dissertation informal discussion please sign up using the form at the top of this page.
The abstract/summary should include:
- The topic of the research
- The main objective of the research
- An indication of the methodology used
- Presentation of the main findings and conclusion
