A new theme will be held at SLSA in Warwick, 2015 “Law, Cultural Heritage and Disability: mutual reinforcement or ambivalence?”. This will be led by the InVisible Difference: Dance, Disability and Law project team (see details http://www.invisibledifference.org.uk/about/project/). The theme would be delighted to received proposals considering any aspect of the creative arts and performance industries (from art to dance to digital), which explore their interaction with law, human rights and disability and their interaction with the idea and reality of cultural heritage.

Possible subjects might include:

• recognition and marginalisation
• limiting business models
• legal and theoretical barriers
• audience/consumer illiteracy
• conceptions of support
• the artist’s experience
• regulatory silence

Interdisciplinary presentations and papers which incorporate the presentation of (non-legal) work are most welcome.
